Job Description
Basic Function:
 
To lead and manage an Island's' Production Teams, Administer, Lead and coordinate all activities related to Well Production of crude oil from the island in SIMOPS methods with drilling & EPC-1 and EPC-2 Projects. 
Administer and coordinate with Field Control Center, Satellites, Field and ZCC the special activities undertake duties and responsibilities within the parameters fixed by the OI-IOS. 
Assume Emergency Response Duties pan Islands in relation for IP facilities or Island's other activities.
 
Work Performed:
 
Use knowledge and experience to lead the Island Production Team Leaders assigned at Artificial Islands in directing the day-to-day operations.
Ensures that Company and Island Operations HSE policies, procedures, regulations and objectives are effectively implemented.
Coordinates with Maintenance teams to ensure availability of production facilities under reliable operating conditions according to maintenance plan.
Ensures the functionality of ESD and F&G loops, and confirms that process is effectively safeguarded.
Acts as the Incident Investigation Team Lead for all HSE reportable incidences.
Maintains IP facilities and locations emergency response plans and organizes IP locality role interaction in emergency exercises and drills at Islands.
Provides operational expertise on day-to-day and when needed on-site supervision to assure Simultaneous drilling operations are carried out in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Gives guidance & instructions to his team and procedural guidance and liaisons with drilling and project work teams so that there are maximum safety/protection conditions for work. Ensures that the issues of relevant access/work permits are in accordance with Company's HSEM system and codes of safe practice before allowing work to be carried out at the Islands.
Participates in regular safety, housekeeping and work permit audits and ensures actions are diligently implemented. Carries out necessary risk assessment, HAZOP, SIMOPS studies and implement remedial works.
Endeavors to develop UAE nationals to various assignments within area of specialization, mapping out suitable developing programs, following up their progress, nominate for appropriate training and maximize their exposure to On Job training.
Provides IP desktop and on job training for new joiners up to Sr. Operators level and Improves competency of work force by guided supervision, relevant training , and periodic assessment for their performance.
Encourage work teams to produce constructive and innovative ideas to improve production methodology and enhance and promote a safety culture.
Prepares daily and periodic production reports and technical memorandums related to operations problems , be involved in solutions and proposing new ideas.
Preparing operational procedures and be involved in operational Risk Assessments, Job safety Analysis and HAZOP/HAZID studies related to operations continuity and development.
Maintains connectivity with Islands production Manager and involving functional departments on shore as well as brown field offshore authorities and departments and ensure a team work spirit in resolving captioned issues on islands, and safeguards integrity and synergy at all times.
Ensure visibility to all production teams on islands and promotes all teams cross auditing activities amongst all islands.
Provides support and cooperation to Drilling, EPC-1 and EPC-2 projects' teams aiming at to achieving Company targets and KPIs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements:
 
• B. Sc. in Petroleum / Chemical / Mechanical or equivalent from a renowned university worldwide.
• At least 10 Years diversified experience in oilfields, including at least 5 years offshore at an equivalent post or higher.
• Perfect command of English language.
