Job Description
Basic Function:
 
Ensure that the facility is cleaned correctly and according to the hospital standards. 
Assist the Manager in managing the cleaning/housekeeping department of the hospital as well as its members.
Manage the inspection of the facility to determine any unusual or cyclical work that needs to be done, such as periodically stripping floor wax, cleaning overhead light fixtures or shampooing carpets. 
Assistant managers maintain a checklist of routine or daily cleaning chores as well. 
They assign workers to specific chores or areas and then inspect the work to ensure it has been done satisfactorily. 
Interview applicants to fill the vacancy of the cleaning department, if there is any.
Train the newly hired employees.
Monitors the performance of all his/her subordinates.
Reports to the manager regarding the overall update of the cleaning/housekeeping department.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements:
 
Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree course.
Minimum of Ten (10) years experience in a hospital settings in which Five (5) years in managerial level.
Has good command of decision making and leadership skills. 
Has good communication skills both in verbal and written.
